4 weeks to go, hopefully less.............

The final month...............actually it came pretty fast. I am quite suprised. As of last friday i was dilated to a 1. which is a start. Go back in 2 days so i am anxious to see what is new!!

This past weekend, we took the weekend to be by ourselves and just bill and i went to chicago. For my birthday and mainly to do one last weekend with no kids. It was nice to be away but then again felt guilt due to gretchen being sick and bills parents having to deal with it. But it all worked out ok. She has finally gone back to daycare today with no fever. Still not eating the best but a huge improvement to what she was on sunday.

everything is pretty much ready to go for baby lane to arrive, we now just sit and wait!! i am so ready to have the baby and get this going...................................guess i will still have to wait alittle bit longer. i feel sorry for my pregnant friends right now that still have a ways to go and i am jealous of the ones who have had their babies lately!!!! i am just ready to not have a belly hanging off the front of me, achy back and to relieve my urge for a nice cold bud light!!! i kinda miss it!! plus we are ready for him to be here so we can have the annual huge fish fry that bill has been itching to have. and i said nope until he comes along. we can make it a welcome baby party as well.

almost 32 weeks and counting

Well we are heading towards the end of the pregnancy road for GOOD!!! I am excited and yet alittle sad to be ending my pregnant days. I do enjoy being pregnant except for the few bumps i have hit in the road. But then again knowing I wont have to look like this again and i can start working out with michelle makes me feel pretty good. Hopefully by next summer, i will be back how i was before i got pregnant with gretchen. So we have roughly 8 weeks left. well plus a few days. i just feel like we still have so many things to do but after the week we have had, i dont want to think about it.

With what trouble i had at the beginning of the week and being told if i didnt start relaxing and not being stressed, i was going to get put on bed rest. Which we do NOT need to happen. That would not be good at all. I am not completly ready to be on maternity leave and be gone from work just yet. I would like to at least get thru the month of august and then i dont care what happens!!

We have been constantly praying for Baby Caeden Hemberger from next door and that his liver works out great and his kidneys get moving and he starts peeing more. We are very worried about his whole family, especially his grandparents who cant always be down there with them. And now we have been praying for Bills friends Todd Hinrichs and that he gets better from the MRSA. We really want to see him but it is to much of a risk for us to be around him.

The kids are well, mason just finished baseball which he didnt really enjoy. And now its about time for school to start again. Gretchen-well we are just thankful that this new baby is going to be a boy. we dont like terrible 2's at all with this little girl. we throw fits over EVERYTHING. we are worried about how she is going to be when lane does come into the world. she isnt going to be the only baby on the block anymore!!! and i dont think she is going to like that.

Week 28

Well we are crossing into week 28. Only roughly 12 to go. I cant wait. I just cant believe still how fast things are moving. and growing!!!!!

The bathroom is almost done. I need to take some pictures of it. We just have to get the vanity done and get towel racks and shower curtain and that type of stuff and that will be out of the way. Then who knows what room we will start next. I want to get our bedroom out of the way and bill wants to start the living room. the arguments never end i tell ya.

Masons birthday is friday. I cant believe my first born is going to be 7 already. We are not sure what we will do all weekend but we will have his party next wed nite since our aunt and cousin will be home from europe that week. So we will wait for them. Mason will be excited cause i keep forgetting to tell him they will be home. So that will be fun for him. I think this weekend we are taking him and the kinneys and go to Browning either by boat on the river or drive and go up and eat. Oh how i cant WAIT for a big basket of corn fritters. but the river needs to drop alittle bit more. so we will see.

Bathroom-its getting there

So we have decided, thanks to our wonderful neighbors for donating the sink, faucet and mirror due to menards being morons. That we would redo the main bathroom. We had an AWFUL mauve sink/countertop and nasty light colored vanity. Terrible vinyl on the floor and white walls. Suprised they werent blue like everything else in the house. So we have taken everything out of bathroom, tile will be laid tonite and bill did most of the painting last night. I cant wait for the vanity to finish being built so we can finish this up cause its going to look pretty damn good when we get done. You can tell a difference even with not all of it painted yet. the other pic is the tile up against the wall for comparing purposes.

Can I stretch anymore?

At 24 weeks, I feel like I cant grow anymore!!! I know there is only one in there but certain people keep insisting that I am pregnant with twins. I am getting close to smacking people!! After 4 sonos and several echo things, there is only ONE BABY AND ONE HEARTBEAT. Dr Klein just keeps telling me the reason I am bigger with this one and why he is sitting SUPER low is because its my 3rd and everything is more relaxed since its my 3rd. Yah everything is relaxed except the mother!! For the most part I feel good. Tired alot but alot of that has to do with work and constantly going all the time. This lil boy is always on the go at night it seems like. He doesnt seem to like for me to lay down and relax in bed, when I do, my stomach turns into disco fever for him!! Oh well, that is a good sign. I have noticed in the past week or so, how much tighter my stomach has gotten and that some shirts are starting to pull up at the bottom already. Time to buy bigger clothes!!

With all the nice weather we have been having we have been fishing more than we should and instead we need to be doing things in the house. The baby room-we still need to get his border and his bedding and then it will be done. Maybe one more coat of paint too. Gretchens room still needs the flowers painted on. Mason still needs flooring even though he could give two shits less that his floor is concrete cause all he does is sleep in there. He has been playing outside more than ever which is great!!

Where does time go?

As the days pass, I really start to wonder where times goes. It is almost the end of May, we have been in the new house for almost 2 months now and things are SLOWLY getting done. We have gotten Gretchens room done except putting some flower stencil painting on the trim part. Babies room is part way done, we just have to get his border and put it up, then its on to get furniture for it. Then we will start masons flooring in his room and more than likely put off our bedroom until winter when bill is bored.

We have been spending alot of time outside. Bill has been fishing constant, I got to go yesterday and it was nice and relaxing except those damn gnats. We started opening the pool yesterday too, got the chemicals and started filling it. We will hopefully finish it tonite and tomorrow nite. Since are weekend is out this weekend due to caseys wedding, we are trying to get things done during the week.

I sit here thinking of everything I still need to get for this weekend. How long have I known about this wedding!!!! How organized am I!!! Pregnancy has got my brain out of whack!

I have decided that this little boy Lane in my stomach is going to be as fiesty and his sister and dad. Normally he is moving around at night once I get in bed. Well the past 4-6 days, he has been constant pounding on me at any time of day. LIKE NOW!!! It is a joy but sometimes it really drives me crazy.

Well enough for now, I am off to shop for the things we still need on my lunch hour.
